INDIANAPOLIS (April 11, 2019) - Autonomous vehicles are being tested on city streets. Car manufacturers are already adding automated features to their high-end models, but when will driverless cars become common? Whether it's years or decades, the safety measures for these cars are being developed and improved daily in the labs of Yaobin Chen, professor of electrical and computer engineering.
